Car hits pole, flips over in Kingston; authorities yet to locate driver - The Daily Freeman
KINGSTON, N.Y. — The driver of a car headed out of the city on Linderman Avenue early Christmas morning hit a utility pole and flipped over before apparently leaving the scene, officials said Saturday. The Kingston Fire Department responded at 7:18 a.m. Saturday to the intersection of Linderman Avenue and Sherwood Drive and found a car upside down and "nobody around the car on arrival," Chief Chris Rea said. Rea said the crash did not cut power to homes in the neighborhood and that the pole was given the "thumbs-up" by Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corp. employees. Late Saturday morning, Kingston Police Department Sgt. Kirk Strand said the driver had not been found. Adblock test (Why?)
