KINGSTON, N.Y. — The driver of a car headed out of the city on Linderman Avenue early Christmas morning hit a utility pole and flipped over before apparently leaving the scene, officials said Saturday. The Kingston Fire Department responded at 7:18 a.m. Saturday to the intersection of Linderman Avenue and Sherwood Drive and found a car upside down and "nobody around the car on arrival," Chief Chris Rea said. Rea said the crash did not cut power to homes in the neighborhood and that the pole was given the "thumbs-up" by Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corp. employees. The engine of MV Abhijan-10 developed problems a few hours after it left Dhaka for Barguna around 6:00pm on Thursday. The staffers of the launch tried to fix it, but kept the vessel going with more than a thousand people on board. The passengers noticed the engine behaving erroneously. Google Search Liaison Danny Sullivan announced via Twitter that Google News is experiencing a bug and that the problem would not be fixed before December 1. The issue that Google identified allowed non-news content to appear in the Google news search results. Google's News Tab Search Bug The tweet stated that a user would have to go through a somewhat convoluted series of steps in order to produce the bug of non-news search results. One would have to carry out a search in the Google News Search Tab, while doing it with quotation marks plus ordering the search results by date.
